Spending a few minutes here is a MUST ! Very knowledgeable and courteous staff. As beautiful as the building is on the outside...it is EVEN more so on the inside. They also have a great many wonderful and diverse items to purchase in their retail area. Don't just pass by, stop and stay for a spell and taste some truly well crafted spirits while you're at it. Take a tour, it will be well worth your while!!!
Overall, great experience! The staff was friendly and welcoming... the tour was good, it was great to talk with the owners. The tasting was eye opening... I can't wait for these to hit the shelves, well done indeed! The 10yr batch was amazing... this place is going to be huge, keep your eye out for Southern Star Bourbon in the coming weeks (mid Summer) Thank you for some good talk over some great bourbon.

Absolutely amazing. I was fortunate enough to get the tour from the main man. I've been to Kentucky personally visited too many distilleries to mention, and I was impressed with SDC. They have a good product and have the right people that know bourbon behind the wheel. I'm very excited to get my hands on the first batches that hit the floor. This is a must visit and enjoy the tour and tasting.

Took the tour yesterday. Hadn't realized they hadn't even had a grand opening yet. We really enjoyed seeing the very beginnings and hearing of the decisions that went in to opening. We'll definitely be back, and looking forward not only to the Grand Opening, but to seeing Southern Star products in our stores.
