I requested for my Letter of credit from Southern California Edison as I had to turn off my service with them on Feb 13th as I moved out of California. Its been a month I haven't received it. To follow up with Customer Service I called them on march 2nd and I was assured the mail having my Letter of Credit is on the way. I also requested them an email having my letter of Credit and I was told with 24 to 48 hours I would be receiving it which I never did. After submitting a transfer request days in advance, I received the keys to my new place to discover no electricity. I called SCE and they said it would be on before EOD. The next day - no power. SCE pointed fingers at my apartment complex' management, but they went to the meter and it was OFF by SCE. Multiple calls and griping later, someone at SCE finally found that my request was rejected. In our city utility poles are being replaced and our pole was replaced December 02, 2019. First the neighbors and then our cable went down and TV/INTERNET/phone service was out for 6 days before FRONTIER was able to restore service. The FRONTIER tech said that it was due to the cables not having been attached properly to the pole. If you checked with FRONTIER, SPECTRUM, etc. you will discover the same problem all over town. Insane! I've tried to pay my bill countless times and they keep rejecting my payments. I've had a terrible time trying to connect my bank accounts which I bank with daily and am getting charged ridiculous fees because their system is BROKEN. This is a complete joke. I've called in multiple times to speak with their people about paying my electrical bill and have had nothing but issues. How is it I can pay my car payment, cell phone, tv, and every other bill except my SCE bill??? This company is unethical and now I'm stuck p... read more

Edison shut off my electricity when my meter fell. Once I had it fixed I called Edison. I was told my power was back on. When I drove up to the cabin a few days later I found no electricity. When I called Edison again, I was told I had to get a building permit from San Bernardino county. I met the county building inspector at my property on 1/17. I called Edison AGAIN on 1/22 and was told my power was on. I drove up to the cabin on 1/24no power. I called Edison AGAIN at 3pm and was told someone would out within a couple of h... read more

We moved a little less than a year ago and Southern California Edison has yet to send us a bill! They said there is a technical issue and they don't know when it will be resolved. It is expected that we will receive a bill after a year of living in a house so the bill total will likely be several thousand dollars. We have NOT been given any estimates or expectations so we can better manage our energy usage or financials. We are flying blind and are waiting for the shoe to drop because of their incompetence. this company should not be in business. there staff is nice but very under trained. anything they do takes 30 days to complete... no wonder they are the cause of fires across California, i honestly think they did it on purpose so they can get a tax break or bail out from the government, we closed our account with them in july and still have not received our deposit back! they are worse than the government.. they are a monopoly and just steal your money with no other option. SCE cut the tops of our queen palm because 2 leaves were hitting the wire. They have done this before but today at 8:00am both mexican one spoke english the other did not. We assumed they were going to cut the 2 leaves but they chop the tops off completely not sure if the tree will come back that I planted years ago very ****** off customer they should be fired!!! It looks horrible so sad. Please help I have photos the man's name is Lawrence ********* at SCE

Service went down but as soon as they restored it, our TV/Internet went down. Frontier tech came out and said SCE techs damaged the cables which affected four home that were attached to this one pole. SCE is basically a monopoly so they know we have no choice. There is no competition so they don'r really have to care about good service. One day, they will have competition. They won't last forever.
