I have used SERA and Dr. Shular for over a decade. I have always been treated with respect by him. A few Saturdays ago my retina showed signs of finally detaching. Dr. Shular has cared for me for over a decade and had explained the procedure should this happen. Call. Be seen. Learn which side to lie on and be scheduled for surgery during the week. I called. The front office receptionist are the most incompetent I have ever had to deal with and I have dealt with a lot. They never have the paperwork even when you hand it right to them. They code most of their billing incorrectly causing your insurance not to pay or cover the cost. Even when you get to your appointment early they forget about you and take zero responsibility for their mess ups. I have seen several doctors due to office locations and my moving. They all have their own technique and if you talk to them and the staff, they do their best to accommodate. I currently see Dr. Schuler and he is great. His calm demeanor helps me tremendously. He explains things thoroughly.
