My daughter went there last year for emergency and they screwed up the paperwork with CIGNA. She kept trying to fix it. They were of no help and then they just sent her to a collection agency so now it’s been so aggravating to fight it. She’s just paying it off in payment plan. And it burns me up.

Just like everyone else on here, I had a random collections for $2400 from Wakefield and Associates from a bill from this Southeastern Emergency Physicians which I have NO clue where or how this charge came about. Also Wakefield and Associates could not provide me with any information and claimed it as “unknown” so I’m trying to dispute this with the credit card agencies and they also come back with my dispute results as “unknown”. This has been such a pain! Is this a scam company??

I went to UT Medical Center but received a bill from Southeastern Emergency Physicians. I had gone to UT Medical Center specifically because UT Medical Center is an In-Network Provider but receiving bill from an out of network is so slimy as it made my deductible higher.
