Be very careful before renting an apartment here. When you first inquire, the management tells you that all utilities except electricity are included in the rent. However, they don't mention that they charge an additional $45 per person living in the unit — you only find this out after paying $55 for a background check. I have lived at Southcrest Heights for the past 10 years, and overall, it has been a very positive experience. One of the things I appreciate most is the convenience of the amenities, including parking and on-site laundry, as well as the reliable maintenance service. So me and fiancée moved in together to one of these apartments in February 25’ into a two bedroom. We had nothing but a decent experience. Rent was good and the apartment was nice. We needed more space so we asked to go to a three bedroom. Since moving into the three bedroom, we have had nothing but problems. It been mice, ants and people trying to use our front door as there own. I’m talking trying to get into our apartment.
