This was the best food we’ve tried in RVA, hands down. The chefs are creative with platting and the menu has the perfect amount of options. We had the wings (my fiancé literally was in food heaven), bread plate, soup/clam chowder ( best I’ve ever had and I’m from New England), half chicken with grits and greens and the burger with fries (BEST FRIES I’ve ever had). We will be back again and again as long as the chefs remain the same.

Absolutely the best dinner tonight! Starting with drinks, then appetizers, then entree and topped it off with amazing dessert!!! Great atmosphere and amazing staff. Mike Hudgins is the best!!! Sorry about the 2 stars before....last nights dinner deserved more than 5 �. Love you too, Mike!!!
This is my new favorite restaurant. The most flavorful food I've put in my mouth ever! The cocktails are great and the daily specials blew me away. My new favorite neighborhood spot. Yummy!

Poor service is the main issue here. Please please double check your receipts. We were $30.00 overcharged. When we informed the waiter he said “the 6 is next to the 9. I’ll learn to use the register one day.” Also the waiter found it more important to say”hello” to someone instead of taking our order first. We went during restaurant week when a portion of the meal is donated to food pantry—Feed More. This is the second time we have done this. You get a three course meal at a fixed price. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
Our entrees were good...service was very slow. Don’t waste your $$ on dessert. Mediocre is a generous assessment.
Maybe it was simply an off night for our server at the bar and the kitchen staff... in fairness, the fried catfish was very good but everything else was nothing special. Won’t be back.
