The apartments are very outdated and everybody smokes even though it is a non smoking community. I constantly complained about the smell of cigarette smoke and marijuana and nothing was ever done. The Management company that owns the apartments are very very money hungry. I would not recommend getting the leasing insurance either because if you leave the place in good shape when you move out they will up charge you for anything and you will still end up owing them more money after lease company pays for damages that are fabr... read more
This place sucks. Staff is absolute trash. Dont move here! Problems since I’ve been here and they want to give a hard time about breaking a lease but they do absolutely NOTHING to fix problems. All the woman at the main office think they have power, lmao place is definitely Fall River trash
I am not recommending South Winds at all! I have lived here 8 years 2 in bldg 16 and 6 in bldg 21. 1st the sq ft area of 21 is less than 16 which. when I complained I was told no they are all the same. Not so 3rd floor is larger than ground. Cheap blinds, cheap appliances, cheap carpeting and they painted the tub!!!! 2nd floor toilet constantly leaks to my bathroom. Called to make sure what my move out date was because things got confused. I unfortunately got the only woman in the office who decides to deny me the move in date for my mother. Ok not on the lease. The lease I am on (who also pays rent) she refuses to tell me when it ends. Each time we get stuck speaking to her she makes it impossible to get accurate information. I used to love it here. then the parking spots were expanded which made parking worse. I never had an issue with neighbors until I moved to the other side of the complex. the neighbors don't care if you work 3rd shift and need to sleep or if you have an infant they blast their music. the police won't do anything until after 11pm. I had to have some cracks fixed and blinds replaced and the maintenance man told me the stuff was cheap. RecommendedI am going on my 45th year here. I have had my ups and downs but the good out ways the bad by far. I brought up my children here and my grand children and I have great grand children that stay over occasionally. The staff here(and I’ve been thru many) are usually fair and helpful. The Maintenance men are exceptionally great. They go beyond the call of duty! I give them 10 stars!
Shout Out to South Winds Apartments! We were just perusing some of our sister sites through the Dolben website and love this gorgeous property and the amenities that they have!
