I had a wonderful experience with a great oral hygienist named Rachel. She was warm and talkative which made my experience even better.
I had an appointment with Dr. Alicia Hansen and had my teeth cleaned by Jennifer before seeing Dr. Hansen. Both ladies were great.

The staff at SouthWestern Dental is always friendly and professional. They make the trip painless. On every occasion they have taken charge of the insurance, checking what coverage remains and letting me know if a procedure will/ will not be covered. The facility is clean and comfortable with good listening music. Everyone is always concerned about your welfare. I've been with Dr. Jon for 10 years, driving from Brookings 2-3 times a year. It's worth the trip.
I woke up on a Sunday in pain as my wisdom teeth had been coming in and have bothered me on and off the past year but this was SEVERE pain. I called South Western Dental Monday morning saying I needed to get in asap and knew I would need to get my wisdom teeth out this time. The receptionist was very helpful and got me in Tues morning! The dentist looked at my tooth quick, told me I had an infection, wrote me a script for antibiotics and a referral to Siouxland Oral to get my teeth out! I am new to town and was recommended to South Western Dental from two people. I'm glad I followed their advice! My hygienist was the fantastic and Dr. Hansen was great. They were thorough and extremely knowledgeable, explaining the process all the way through. I will definitely continue to go there and I'm glad I found such a great place on my first try!
