We’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes here, one time they saw us as a walk-in with a toddler with the stomach flu on the day of my grandmothers funeral and they saw us immediately. They are really friendly and very knowledgeable. Our previous pediatrician was at Duke University Peds and to be honest I like STPeds even better.
We have used this pediatric office for over 10 years. We started out with Dr. Mayberry and now see Dr. Freed. Thru the past 10 years, we have seen every physician in that practice at one time or another with sick visits and have yet to have a bad experience with anyone! With my youngest having bad asthma and chronic bouts of pneumonia, Dr. Freed has been nothing short of amazing with him including today when he got him in within 15 min.of my calling there telling them what was going on. I have been taking my kids to see Dr. Dunlap since my oldest was born, and have recommended her to many of my friends when they have been unsatisfied by their previous pediatrician. She is always great with the kids, listens carefully to all of my concerns, and answers all of my questions. The rest of the office is also fantastic! The waiting room does not really have toys for the kids to play with, but we are almost always taken back to a room within a few minutes of arriving, so the toys really aren't necessary. We've been taking our children here since 2010 to Dr. Narrin. My kids love her & prefer to see her usually. However, we've seen all of the physicians at some point and they are all wonderful !
We had our first appointment after switching to this office from a Warren Clinic office. I was extremely surprised to see only a TV with cartoons in the waiting room. No toys or anything to occupy the children. It didn't give a great impression, and left me concerned about future visits with possible wait times and no physical activity availavle... but we liked Dr. Harp-Wetz and my oldest professed his love for her upon leaving. She had a great view of "wait and see" on non-critical items which matches our minimal interventi... read more
