Dr. Kuwamura saved my life! He got me in for emergency cervical surgery after an extensive vertebral slip, I went from being bed bound with my left arm swelling to very large proportions, to dusting off my Harley for a ride in no time. I was released on Thursday, February 22, following a total knee replacement by the fabulous Dr. Amanda Marshall Rodriguez and her surgical team. Was just released there yesterday after having a hip replacement. From the moment you walk in the door to sign in to the nurses in pre op and after the surgery the nurses and doctor on staff were absolutely wonderful. South Texas Spine and Surgical hospital made my total knee replacement so much easier than I anticipated. My anxiety about surgery disappeared the minute I got into pre-op. They even gave me lidocaine BEFORE putting in my IV; I felt nothing! I was given every consideration possible to make me comfortable and keep me from feeling pain during my whole stay. Hats off to the surgical team, Dr. Amanda Marshall Rodriguez, her assistant, Marie Neira, and all the nurses, CNA's, and lab techs for all their care and dedication.
Amazing facility , Staff is Awesome , and Dr. Broome is truly a gift from Our Lord!
