I would not consider any other miso that is not made in this amazing Japanese tradition with such care and love. I make a seaweed egg drop soup using the three year barley and my friends absolutely love it. I am always happy to refer them to South River Miso and they love watching the videos of how it is made. South River Miso is the best miso anywhere! I've had many misos over the years and theirs is hands down the best!! I'm also awaiting the shipping date for my locale to stock up on all our favorites. Can't wait : )
