RecommendedI spent a week there recently. While I was there I missed my Mexico vacation and my son's 6th birthday. When the staff heard about my son, they took it upon themselves to try to make his day as special as possible, there in the hospital. They sent up balloons and pizza, a big group of them sang Happy birthday, and they even brought him gifts and a card! These were nurses, techs, dietary staff... Everyone! It was amazing! RecommendedAfter being given terrible reviews by acquaintances, we were very hesitant to try this hospital. With chronic health issues we tired of driving to Orlando, so we ended up giving them a try. They have been absolutely wonderful. We usually are admitted through the ER which is typically a very quick process, but last night the ER was packed. Although it took about 5 hours to get upstairs into a room, the ER staff was attentive, apologetic, and kept us informed of progress throughout the wait time. RecommendedMy son's nurse today in same day surgery area was so good and calm with him.He is petrified of needles and she did her best with him!! She let him touch things and she explained things so he could understand them! She felt like a mom/grandma! Her name was Tammy! Thanks for everything!
