The doctors don't listen to you or care what you have to say. They want to keep the numbers down and get you in and put as soon as possible. There is a board and as soon as your days in the hospital turns red they will try to get you out no matter what.
RecommendedMy 16 year old son was treated by South Lake ER on October 24. He was injured playing football and South Lake ER took amazing care of him. They were accurate in the diagnosis and made sure to get us everything we needed in order to follow thru with his care. RecommendedAs a recent Clermont resident, I have a HUGE rave for our local hospital, South Lake Hospital!! My husband had to go in for an outpatient surgical procedure and we couldn’t ask for a better experience. The nurses who took care of him, Ivette and Tammy, were wonderful. The communication with me waiting was awesome. So happy that we know good care is available in our own back yard! Thanks and a big shout out to all who took care of him!!
RecommendedI was admitted to Southlake this past Friday. Words can not convey how absolutely amazing the entire staff was during my stay! I went in with sepsis, and ended up in ICU. I’m grateful for the attentive staff, the care and concern they have for patients, and for the outstanding Drs that cared for me. I’d like to also say that my nurse named “Nora” in the ICU was incredibly patient with me, and her sense of humor made the “not so comfy situation” so much more tolerable!
