Absolutely one of the best hospitals anywhere. Blessed to receive the very best care. Very wonderful care givers
South Lake Hospital can be fantastic or it can be a bad experience. The Hospitalist and the nursing staff are the difference between a bad hospital and a great hospital. If any one is blessed enough to have Dr. Okolee as your hospitalist, you are in a fantastic hospital. I will say that the nursing staff at South Lake is also vety good.
This is the absolute worst worst hospital and staff ever. I wouldn't send worst enemy there. My father went in there to get a knee replacement 5 days ago and now has 2 gulf size blisters on the leg and a blood clot in the leg. The PCT'S are so clueless and useless, they think they know it all and don't. If you can go to Celebration, Florida hospital in Winter Park, anywhere but here. The food is horrific too. I can't give this hospital not 1 star.
It was an awesome stay. The nurses were very professional and polite and there response to the nurses call light was phenomenal, thanks.
I'm afraid of the thought of having to go into the hospital and only have South Lake as a choice. When my father was brought in there for pneumonia he left with MRSA, C-diff & Sepsis. My father died not long after his stay here. I don't have fond memories of this hospital anymore.
I was in SLH last week after a heart attack. The staff was awesome! Special thanks to Ashley, Julia, Doug, Lyda, Tricia, Georgia, Josephine, Evelyn and Tammy. If I have to come back I want all of you taking care of me!
