RecommendedDr. Kyle Johnson is my guy and his support staff are amazing. He's been caring for Little P on and off since last saturday and the outcome is not good ( by no fault of the practice ) but they have shown my dog kind and compassionate care as well as keeping me informed with honesty and options. I have difficult decisions to make soon. This is hard enough for me but this could be a lot harder without them. Thank you.
We brought our senior dog in last night as we unfortunately had to have our sweet girl of 11.5 year's put to sleep and the staff were all very gentle and compassionate from Reception to the Technician and the Doctor. They made Zara as relaxed and comfortable as possible and she was not in anyway stressed as she made her transition which eased our mind's. I would definitely recommend this hospital.

We used to love this place. Been going here for years. Looking for a new Vet. We are quite disgusted with South Hill Vet overcharging us. They charge $50 for a recheck appt, to tell us that our pet looks good after the original $300 appt to take care of her allergic reaction and ear infection. We knew she was better just by looking at her. Wow, seriously disappointed.

they will deny your puppy coverage if you dont have any money and as a result our puppy died.
Vets care for the animals like they are their own I feel. I've always had wonderful customer service experiences when I've been then there. And in the 2 times I've had to let animals of mine put to rest I've had nothing but compassion from the staff.

Everything! After explaining the unique situation with a 92 year old dementia patient, how she depends on her companion, a dog with multiple health issues documented by South Hill Vet, they refused to discreetly prescribe the antibiotics they gave him recently for a bladder infection! They wanted to do a full blown exam first. We had an appointment for vaccines! That appointment is canceled. Will never go there again.
