This is by far the worst ER in the country doesn't matter if u need stitches or about to die you will wait at least 5 hours no matter what day or what time, if you have the choice please go somewhere else!

Well my wife went to the Lakeland SGMC she went their with extreme pain and when we left she left with the same extreme pain. Thanks SGMC. The "Doctor" took a look at my wife but just looked. He didn't even do a thorough examination. They told her she was constipated which is impossible since she wasn't. So we will definitely not be using SGMC again. We will drive up to Tifton and get quality care.
The actual medical staff seem to be professional and friendly; however, their reception and central scheduling departments are terrible.
Best medical care I've ever seen . My father came in septic and barely alive . 3 weeks later he was breathing room air. Everyone from the icu to the stroke unit where he ended up was 100% amazing . He's headed into the VA system now . Let's pray they don't kill the man y'all saved. No matter the outcome of this entire situation I will be forever grateful to all the kind staff that watched me cry and even shed tears themselves when they though my father was going to die. The quality of care has gotten worse in the ER. Instead of them treating people as humans it is more like a #. No urgency what so ever no matter the condition. Some nurses need to keep their mouth shut with the comments of what they think the problem is so they do not panic the patient. Uggg
Horrible. Absolutely Horrible. I Am In Soo Much Pain & No One Cares !! I've Had A Headache Every Since April 9th ... That's 4 Days How Is That Not Urgent??
