This has to be one of the sorriest staff night in the Er. Calling to check on my father-in-law, been put on hold each time I call till the phone gets disconnected. Can’t get an update or any type of answer and still waiting for 2 hours with no call back. No other hospital puts off family members like this. Will never let anyone come here again.
Foul and disgusting. Disorganized and misinforming. Poorly and carelessly handling everything—including my family. We were on vacation, coming from across the country, when my two year old son endured his first seizure. They do not send out actual doctors to update the family. The day my dad died they sent out a chaplain who legally was not allowed to know what was going on with my dad to update me. They either broke HIPPA and told him what was going on, or he just lied to me about the status of my father. It wasn't until I DEMANDED to talk to a doctor that my wishes were met. Although most of the staff were great. The rooms are disgusting. Especially the bathroom. The toilet rain over , the tub had dirt all in it and their reason was they have been having back up issues. I had to call housekeeping several times for them to clean. I wish I got a before picture. My mom was in the hospital for 4 days. For cleanliness I’ll give them 1 star but for the staff I’ll give them 4 stars.
There a horrible hospital been waiting 3 plus hours for a supposed room to open but no one has come out or in. while my girlfriend was lean up against me in pain and they have no regard for patients. do not go here unless you absolutely have too
RN Trish and Charge Nurse Jody should be termed just by how talk to the patients and their families. Overnight ER nurses should be considered a joke BC the don't take their jobs serious nor do they Care. They manipulate security
Registration night ladies are very unprofessional talking about patients and you can hear them. Service here is just awful Valdosta needs a hospital that cares for its people coming in not people just sitting around not working and gossiping.
I brought Tracy in about 5 1/2 hours ago. She has a bad headache and thinks that something is going on. She has been checked twice and not seen and undiagnosed. Getting upset because of how long she has been suffering.
This was my first time going to SGMC Urgent Care and it's going to be my last . I don't even know who the doctor was that came in and left so abruptly but I waited for 3hrs and nothing was done about my symptoms; no tests of any kind. The people around me were upset and dissatisfied with the services as well. Better off going to the your own choice of pharmacy and diagnosed your damn self.
