When the mammography center first opened, it was such a wonderful improvement, no waiting for hours to be seen in the hospital. Now a perfectly functioning check in process has been changed; check in at one place, then go to the radiology check in desk, wait for 20 minutes to be called to a desk, then go to the mammogram center and fill out the same paperwork again. THEN get the mammogram. It took a total of 45 minutes to get checked in and 10 minutes to have the images done. Ridiculous doesn't even describe the inept check ... read more
I would like to say this is the worst hospital but Waycross Georgia has you beat. Was diagnosed for a cervical sprain, in severe pain. They let me lay there for hours and still gave me nothing for pain while I was there. Sent me home in the same condition I came in with.
Went in last night for severe right ear pain and didn't get seen. I had to go in there today for my asthma and got seen right then. One of the nurses was very rude and was yelling at me when I told her something was to tight on my arm. What a joke. Then when I asked for another nurse she told me to lay there and suffer. I have a bruise on my arm from the bandaid she put on it. This hospital really needs some serious change.
My wife recently gave birth to our daughter here and the care she got was second to none. A special thank you to Lara Davis in Labor & Delivery for keeping my wife and I in good spirits during our visit and making us feel comfortable. The world needs more nurses like her.
