My Miss Mariah wasn’t feeling good and couldn’t keep water down among other issues. They got me in the same day. The staff was awesome. Greeted us with kindness as soon as we walked in the door. We travel a lot and is hard to find a good vet that really cares. And she was awesome with Mariah. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking good care of her. She’s my rock and don’t know what I’d do without her. You all are an awesome group of people. Thank you �� from both Mariah and I �
Since I was a child, we took our pets to this location. The vets change, but the care remains top level!!!

I was referred to South Des Moines Veterinary Center after a bad experience at another DSM Vet. They are absolutely the most kind, caring and helpful team you could ask for! We brought our puppy there who now does daycare and boarding too! They remember us every time we walk in and always take the time to answer any questions we may have!
Very pleased with our experience today! We decided to try out a new vet since we ran into some issues with our last vet. Felt my kitties were in good hands here :) For years one of our cats had struggled with dry skin and we were always told "Oh that's normal" And were never told how to help her, and today we were given advice and suggestions on how to help her! They are awesome and always are willing to answer questions no matter how simple they seem. My kitty has been there several times over the past couple of months and I always leave with questions answered and my kitty doing better.
