my son was turned away because he did not fit the criteria. We a person is going through detox or ready to make a change and you are turned away. There is no hope for addicts. You are and will aways be an addict. You will alway be looked down on. Stop giving addicts false hope
RecommendedGreat Moms and babies program! Allowed me to have my newborn there and really was able to work on myself while being a new mother.
It's not a country club but it will get you straight and sober. Plus it will give you the tools to handle and maintain your sobriety. Most of the staff is nice and professional. Yet some need to be replaced. Nonetheless if you want your life back I do recommend you spend the 90 days in the residential program.
I’ve honestly had the worst best love hate relationship with DAF. But to be honest if you want the help they are there ! Ms.Adams legit saved my life and when I didn’t want to be held accountable I was! And that’s what this program taught me was how to be really honest with myself! And I learned one major thing and it was TIME this I must earn!!!! Today I have god by my side telling me it’s okay. This place is terror DO NOT go there for help or send your loved one, this is a money hungry facility.The facility is inhumane and unsanitary.
They basically drove around the ghetto and grabbed the most ignorant people they could find and put them to work there. They "lost" a huge black duffel bag with almost every piece of clothing I owned in it. Incompetent, unprofessional, and should be shut down. They gave me librium without my knowledge, when I found out I left. I went there to get clean, not to get high.
We treated ourselves so badly out there but then we want to go to treatment and be babied? DAF gave me tough love but fair treatment and it saved my life!!! I know in my heart that the style of treatment I received at DAF was how treatment should be. If you want to change your life for good go to DAF. I needed every bit of the 60 day inpatient! 28 days just isn't enough!
