Get directionsNot impressed at all! My friends and I went to lunch here on a Wednesday afternoon a couple weeks ago and were overall disappointed. It was almost impossible to find a healthy lunch option that wasn't under $15. Even their salads were full of candied nuts, cheeses, and other not so healthy items. And when I attempted to order a salad without some of this stuff, the waiter was rude about it. Actually, I really wish I remembered his name, because he had to be one of the worst waiters I've ever had. He took forever to take our ... read more
Nice upscale restaurant This restaurant was very nice. Had late lunch, and even though the official hours were over, no one kicked us out. Food was good, nice variety, and the place itself had a nice atmosphere, especially if you get seated near a window, you get a view of the hills. Our waiter took his time taking our order, but that's not to say it's a trend. Overall the service was great, even the busboy was helpful. I'd go there for a nice meal outside town, to get away from the streets and the cars, it's a nice change o... read more
Good wine, nice location The resort part is to die for!! Great rooms and at a good price, the food with room service is good but costly. The restaurant is good but over priced. The Thanksgiving dinner in 2006 was nice, but not like mom use to make. Highly recommend the resort and spa, don't waste your time with the wine or the food.
Good wine, Great tour We decided to visit South Coast Winery while in Temecula. We hadn't decided on which winery to go to but just decided to drive through wine country. We drove past South Coast and it just looked beautiful. We walked around for a bit and then decided to take the guided tour. The guide was fantastic. We had a tasting after the tour. Once she found out the type of wine we liked she kept recommending different wines we should try. The only con was that they do not ship their wine to Maryland or Virginia. The... read more
Good but could improve. With all the accolades this restaurant has earned, we expected better for the price. We enjoyed the food but there are several places nearby that give the same or better for the price. The service is very slow and the staff had trouble with our lunch orders. We do love the villas here and the food is still very good, just not what you would hope for for the pricey menu. Being a winery, they do have very creative options and special dinners.
