Great Veterinarian Lousy Reception Dr. Molitor is an AWESOME veterinarian! He listens and was very nice to my dogs. He treated them like they were his most important patients of the day (even though we were one of the last ones on a Friday). On the flipside, the front staff (reception/vet techs) are lousy! They're always rude, twice now I've scheduled an appointment and they didn't have me on their schedule, when I took my dog to get vaccinated they grabbed him, took him back and were done so fast that I didn't have time to ... read more
My kids Dr.s are the best! Dr. Molitor and Dr. Shoemaker are awesome. I have all the faith in them to help me with my kids.In fact I am calling today to see what I can do for Sissy Sues somewhat tender leg, she is limping and favoring it somewhat.
Like Ddr. Moliter I've had experiences similar to other reviewers. I really like Dr. Moliter. He takes time to answer questions and explain things to you. The front office staff is definitely not the friendliest around. He's a good vet, but needs to request better customer service from the staff!
Great Staff and Vets! I have had nothing but great experiences at this hospital. Both doctors Molitor and Shoemaker treat me and my pets as if we were family! I love when I walk into the office and the front staff greats me with a smile and knows me by name. I have been coming here since they opened and will continue to do as long as I am a pet owner!
Is this vet ALWAYS overbooked? I love the vet - but the staff are pretty bad. I finally gave up last night after waiting 25 minutes for my appointment, and the people who were there *before* me still had not been helped. Usually I get into the little waiting room within 15 minutes... but then typicall have to wait another 15-30 minutes... and I've had to wait up to 20 MORE minutes to PAY. That's nuts. Fine job The doctors are nice and have good interests to help your pet, Dr. Molitor is good at orthopedic surgery and Dr. Shoemaker is learning endoscopy and laparoscopy putting them at the cutting edge to help your pet.
Great Vet, Reception/Techs need fine-tuning I 100% agree with the reviews from Feb 2008 and Dec 2007 that say Dr. Molitor is friendly, compassionate & competent. The front desk staff could be perceived as abrupt sometimes - particularly on the phone. Then, to be kept waiting 25 minutes and have three people say, "We'll be with you in a minute" - after being told to arrive at a specific time... is disrespectful of MY time. The tech should have a good idea of surgical sites prior to requesting consent... they were not document... read more
The most wonderful vet. . . Dr. Molitor Writing a reivew of Dr. Molitor is not hard as he is WONDERFUL. We met Dr. Molitor shortly after the South Bay Veterinary Hospital opened. Our mini-doxie (Riley) was just not feeling well. Dr. Molitor came into the examining room and immediately bonded with Riley. I have never known a vet to be more loving, carrying toward pets. Wonderful Vets! I have been going to South Bay Veterinary Hospital since shortly after it first opened. Dr. Ron Molitor is my regular vet at the clinic but I have seen Dr. Shoemaker as well on occasion. Dr. Molitor is wonderful! He is so kind, compassionate and respectful of his patients and their owners. I read in a previous post that he made that person feel like they were his only patients that late Friday afternoon - I can truly identify with that as he practices that way all of the time!
