Mickey Stasey has made the last two sets (pairs?) of bifocal lenses for me and they're so good! I had used one-hour optical chain stores before, but never could read or see well with the lenses I got there. I saw good reviews for South Austin Optical and decided to try it out. Mickey was very helpful and meticulous about fine tuning my prescription. I couldn't believe how well I could see with my new lenses. Really glad I found this place!

Great product - Great service - I have a "dead" nerve on the right side that greatly reduces the motion in my right eye - Mickey took the time and concern to make sure that my bi-focal lense was in the exact place for me to be able to use it. Very Professional - Vary Caring - Very good - Thanks to Mickey and South Austin Optical

great find! – I wish I had found Mickey Stasey long ago! I finally have glasses that work perfectly for me thanks to Mickey. He makes you feel like you are special and spends as much time as needed with you, which makes you come away very satisfied. Not only does he know what he is doing but he is so personable and friendly! Don't even think about going anywhere else!

Best Optician in Texas – I am 50 years old and have worn glasses for 42 years. I'm extremely perfectionistic to a fault. I have worn glasses from the highest end to the lower end, experiencing both ends of the spectrum with lenses and optical stores. So, I have some credibility with this review. Makes you feel at home – I am new to having to wear glasses. Walk in the store on thursday talked with mickey about what i wanted in the style of glasses. He walk over to counter pick up the glasses i had pictured in my mind and said try theses on see what you think. I loved them!!!! This is the place you want to go for eye wear trust me. Mickey knows what he is doing and you will never need to look for a Opticians again!! no pun intended:)

Great Service – My daughter needed glasses in a hurry and Mickey opened up his store over the holidays to help us out. He kept in close contact while the lenses were ordered and worked hard to get the fit just right. He is a perfectionist and this is what you want in an optician. She loves her new "stylin'" glasses and can see much better too! The next time I need to update my glasses, this is the only place I'll go!

How could it get any better – I'd gone years with ill-fitting glasses, including many new ones, thinking my nose wasn't large enough to keep eyeglasses straight, before visiting South Austin Optical. And my glasses weren't cheap. After a doctors' office suggestion, my wife and I went in. My wife was shown the best-looking glasses she's had.
