This was approximately my 4th or 5th time at The Soundview. I have loved everything about the place until this evening's visit. I was there between 5-7pm and the blond haired bartender was very rude. However the woman in the kitchen working her butt off was wonderful. When i was leaving i noticed someone had left a cell phone at a table where their was clearly no one around. It took me 5 minutes to get bartender attention to tell her and when i finally did she was annoyed and brushed it off.
We're from Tacoma and just stumbled on this place. Close to our hotel (walking distance). The food was good , staff was nice. Could tell it was a total "locals" bar, which is what we were looking for. Great garden out back, free pool, and a great little mascot (Sophie the dog). Will go again if we are in the area.

Good food and staff. Not the best but they make ya love them.
Good bar food .great service. and they have a funny little dog named Sophie running around. what else could you ask for?
