I've been going there since it was Sound Source with Rod Evans (of single coil guitar pickup fame) selling musicians' amplifiers which he made. I think Sound Hounds started around 1973 and I have been a regular customer since then, when Terry Crabbe (RIP) took over management and put S Hounds on the map. Tano and the guys at sound hounds are the best. They've been doing it for decades and always offer expert advice. Recently saving me time money and headache with quick diagnose.
Recently upgraded my amp and music streamer with them. Michael is a great person to deal with: professional, nice, and patient. They're an audiophile dealer so the equipment on their list are already pre-selected so you save some time doing research. He helped me compared a couple of finalists and I picked my gear after. I have bought a few Pieces off of Sound Hounds over the years including an Anthem Amplifier and a Moon CD player. I was very happy with the sales experience and also the after sales experience. The transport in the CD player has failed a few times. So I took it into the store and they shipped it to the manufactor and it was repaired and returned.
