Diners can choose from all kinds of familiar Southern foods like fried okra, cornbread and collared greens, along with some not so familiar dishes like BBQ or fried tofu. Souley Vegan cooks up all its food with soul, as the name implies, making it so good you might not even notice the lack of animal products.

Southern Fried Tofu is on point! I love the welcoming vibe this restaurant has and the Sunday Brunch menu is delicious even my omnivore friends love this place! Definitely eat here when in Oakland
Omg the food here is a must try even if your not vegan . Great place love it
Yummy and carcass free!!! Such a treat to have close by. The southern fried tofu and chicken fried steak are to die for, well no, no deaths actually!
Lousiana soul food ftw! Had the sampler platters: Yams 5/5, BBQ tofu 5/5, southern fried tofu 4/5, black eye peas 5/5, sweet potatoes 5/5, lentils 4/5, mac n cheese 3/5, corn bread 5/5 and at least 5/5 for the potatoe salad - it reminded me to my favourite Berlin child hood potatoe salad my grandmother made back in the days! I ate this 6 hours ago and will stay filled! :P Cayenne lemonade's a nice idea, but jeeez leave out some sugar. ;)
The food is so authentically southern that it actually fooled my eyeballs into making my brain doubt that what I was eating was completely vegan!!! The fried tofu on grits and an order of Mac n cheez! I will be back! Soon!!
Highly excellent food - my favorite is the Portabello mushroom burger!
Love this place. The food is DELICIOUS!! The southern fried Tofu is off the chain.
