Didn't realize that Soul Food could be vegan. I'm in love with this option. The food was very tasty. My favorite was the cornbread, potato salad.
I enjoyed the experience. I truly expected a bit more because it had the name “souley” and marketed as soul food Vegan Style but everything was just spicy 🌶 not necessary soul food. Okra was on point the corn bread 🍞 was delicious and i will try it again. (Tad issue of paying before I ate while in line)
I was a first timer, and absolutely loved it. My crew and I can't wait to come back.
I had never had soul food before and this was a great first experience! The staff were friendly and helpful! Also the cocktails were delicious!
First time there and it was Sunday brunch. So someone hands you a menu (menus need to be replaced, pretty tattered) and you have to figure out what you want, order and pay before you sit down. It was shortly just after opening but the menu board specified that they were out of most of the drinks that were supposed to be available for the brunch.
