This unusual coffeehouse occupies two levels of a vintage renovated building in the historic Soulard neighborhood and overlooks a beautiful courtyard garden. Breakfast fare includes Eggs Benedict, Eggs Florentine, and egg croissant sandwiches. Freshly baked muffins, scones, cookies and cakes will tempt you to visit the bakery counter. Lunch offerings feature sandwiches such as the Rueben Panini, served with salad or fresh fruit. And of course there are blended coffee drinks, iced mochas, and smoothies.

The food was very good, except my boyfriend ordered a Dr. Pepper and when our drinks were brought, it wasn't Dr. Pepper, it was Pibb (according to him). Just wish they would have asked before substituting.
The food here is very good, but they announced they were closing in 10 minutes while we were still eating and that we needed to be leaving, as we were hurrying to finish we watch a member of the staff raising her voice at our server, talking down to her in front of us, I felt very uncountable and aside from the food this was a pretty first impression and not really how you want to be treated while trying to enjoy a holiday.
No better place for breakfast in the world! Not to be missed when you are in Soulard in St Louis!!!

Love this place! Great atmosphere, superb breakfasts, gracious and friendly waitstaff, and the best dang Bloody Marys west of the Mississippi. My son is graduating from SLU next week, so I will miss this restaurant, but lots of great memories! Thank you for that!
