The good: Laurie was very knowledgeable and explained everything she was going to do. I got a 90 minute massage and facial. Both left me relaxed. That being said, I got there 15 minutes ahead of my appointment and the door was locked. I didn't know I needed to knock to let her know I was there. We ended up getting started late. I had the afternoon off but it's something people need to know if they are on tight schedule.
This visit... it was my first. The positive outweighed any negative feelings I had once all said and done. She is one woman, a one woman business. Yes. She was late. Yes, she called me. Yes she was even later than the time she said she was going to be. If I were in a rush, I probably would of been a little more annoyed and canceled, or asked for money back, or a reschedule... BUT. I booked a 2:30 appointment. At 2:00, I received a phone call asking if I could come in at 3:00. At 2:40, I received a phone call from the massage therapist telling me she was on her way. At 3:20, she's still not here and isn't answering her phone.
My massage was awesome, the masseur was very knowledgeable and the room was the perfect. I'll be back for sure.
Laurie did such an amazing job, she takes the time to explain her methods and makes sure you are super comfortable with everything from pressure, to lighting, to temperature. Her studio is small and comfy and I will continue to come back. She puts in extra time at the beginning to understand your needs and goals.
Love the relaxing experience! Laurie uses the exact amount of pressure to help me relax & soothe my tense muscles!
