Seafood risotto is the best I've ever had! Highly recommend.
I can vouch for literally everything on that menu but hands down the Cioppino is a must! Grateful that we found this little gem years ago and now any time we get out of the house for a date night this is the first (and by the time we eat everything our last) spot we hit! Service, atmosphere, food, what more can a girl ask for?
True Italian and the freshest fish
Great food. Actually worth the wait. Very busy place, but the owner shook my hand and thanked me by name on the way out. If your in SF, check it out.

Seated at the counter close to the cooks. Hot and noisy spot. Was told tables were for groups of 4. The empty tables never got filled since we were there for a very late lunch. Mussels were undercooked and not much flavor in the broth. The pasta was very tough. Asked for Parmesan cheese and more water. Both needed to be asked for again since they hadn’t come. I will say that my sea scallops were delicious

I would like to start off by saying thank you to the staff of Sotto Mare who made the other evening one of the best dinning experiences I have ever had in my life.
