For me, not worth the price This property made me think of European hotels. The rooms were not of a size I would expect for the price paid. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and there are fine linens. Bathrooms are small. I found the service spotty, rather than exceptional. I would not stay here again, or recommend it instead of other great hotels in Seattle where you pay much less.

romantic If you got the money, and you want to spend a special weekend, or maybe it's your anniversary I recommend The Sorrento. My fiance took us here for a weekend getaway. We had towncar service, breakfast in bed, and we stayed in just about the coolest looking room I'd ever been in. Okay, so it's a bit pricy, but when you stay at The Sorrento you definitely get what you pay for. We'll be back, same time, next year.

Wow This is a cute but also historic hotel in Seattle. The rates here are pretty expensive and go over $200 a day. The staff here are wonderful. The room we stayed in was somewhat small but comfortable. We also had a great view of downtown. Overall, this is a great hotel.

High Tea - Awesome in the past but disappointed last time I went to High Tea with my sisters and mom several months ago. I was disappointed in the tea this last time. The bread on the tea sandwiches had gotten dry, like they'd been sitting out a while without being covered with a damp cloth, as they should be. The service was less than desireable (our lady seemed like she didn't like her job, and showed us a lot). She didn't bring milk and sugar with our tea, and we couldn't find her to ask for it as our tea sat and got cold... read more

Sorrento Hotel is historic establishment! I love the Sorrento Hotel! This is a Seattle establishment! The rooms are nice, beds are comfy! Lobby is a bit dark - but cozy. Service is great. The space for weddings is cool too - cool deck to go out on. I love this historic hotel! Highly recommend!

Sorrento Hotel provides a great experience. The Sorrento Hotel is such a sweet place. The building has such great history. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The entire place was clean and the room was well done. A great experience I would recommend.

This is one of Seattle's oldest and finest hotels! The prices are very high, but it really is very nice for a special occasion. Honeymooons, weddings, Valentine's Day, or special anniversaries would be perfect. It is really beautifully and tastefully decorated. The rooms are a little small, but great. The sheets are 400 thread count, so it is one of the best night sleeps I've ever had! If you can't afford to stay here, consider a night in the bar with dinner or appetizers and drinks. They also serve English-style high tea fr... read more

Lovely, for a price To me, the Sorrento is pure elegance. It's an old hotel located in Seattle's First Hill area with so much class. Really, Seattle is not all that old of a city and cultural landmarks like this aren't so easy to come across. The restaurant at the hotel is also very good, and maintains a normal local clientele in addition to the tourists who stay at the hotel. Try the smoked salmon eggs benedict!

My wedding location! I am hosting my wedding here in December. I have been planning for about a year and it has been a great experience. I have been to the hotel on several occasions. The rooms are beautiful, the staff is always friendly (everyone from the valet to the front desk to the waitstaff in the bar), and the hotel itself is gorgeous. It is not in the heart of downtown (as far as walking distance from most sights) but the hotel provides complimentary towncar service for all guests. As far as special events are concer... read more
