Today was my first time going to Sophia s and I am VERY pleased! Sophia braids beautifully; not heavy-handed , she doesn t braid too tightly, and she is really fast. She and the other ladies in the shop were very pleasant and professional. I will definitely be going back again and again. A+++

k Sophia had been doing my hair before she got her own shop so I would say around 10yrs. I was a loyal customer I moved far and would still travel a hour just so she could do my hair. I went to get my braids earlier this year while I was pregnant and her attitude was not the same. She charged me more to get color highlights in my micros ( which I have never been charged for). Im over due for a review on this shop. I went to Sophias in September of 2010 to get my hair microed. The job they did on my hair was phenomenal! Sophia wasnt in the shop during the process but the young ladies that were braiding my hair did an amazing job. I took my braids down mid-December, so they lasted 2 1/2 to 3 months. It took about 8 hours for them to complete my hair and I believe that was due to the constant breaks the ladies took. I was understanding because I know people get hungry throughout the day. They do a great job and they are fast my lasted well into 3 months I would def recommend them
These ladies are friendly and respectful. They communicate very well and understand what you want as a customer. They keep the shop clean and aid to your comfort.I had some micros done and they are gorgeous. They use only top notch products for your hair. I was very pleased to be serviced my these talented business women. I know this business will continue to flourish. I will be returning to Sophias.
