I was really hopeful for my appointment. Because I really need someone to find what’s wrong so that I am not in pain. I even asked could she consider excision. The vibe was cold and dismissive She spoke with me for about 8 min, no exam or anything. She asked me to bring my images and she didn’t even view them. This visit was for Danielle Stokes. Danielle's experience was a positive one. She felt comfortable with Dr. S. LEE. Danielle said she would be glad to return next year.
If I could give Sonya Lee negative stars I would. DO NOT see her for endometriosis diagnosis or care as she is NOT a specialist that she claims to be. I saw her in April for potential endo and she recommended to do a transvaginal ultrasound. I completed this at Penn and it came back “normal”. Dr. Lee and I met to go over the results and she basically said in a brief and rushed visit that my scan was normal, I most likely don’t have endo, and to try and get pregnant naturally.
