Decent Food at a Decent Price Whenever I'm in the area I usually go to this spot. I've been there around five times, have ordered something different each time and have never really been disappointed.The portions are satisfying, the presentation is astounding considering the price, there's indoor/outdoor seating, and their desserts are fantastic!What keeps it from a 5 star rating is that sometimes the entrees don't come out as warm as I'd like them to be. Other than that, everything else is wonderful.
Good food and price Good food at at good price. For this particular location, I like the (very) large patio they have and its setting. It's nice for when the weather's good, and I enjoy an outdoor setting. Plus, the ambience is vibrant depending on the day you go.
Love their Food On cold nights it's drafty outside, reminds me of a restaurant always under construction.......my daughter and my 2 little granddaughters and I have eaten there twice and I've eaten at the one in Campbell. Food's the same, order in line, pickup. Quantities are very plentiful, and borders on gourmet, especially the chicken dish with asparagus. Go Sharks have eaten there several times on my way to a game or other events at the arena. Service is quick, food is great and if you are a chocoholic then the hockey puck dessert is the best. A good deal pricewise, plenty of food and it is always busy. Go try it out.
Good but not great – I have been here twice for lunch. It gets busy during the luch hour because of their location. The service is ok, and the salads are good. The first time I ordered the chicken, I thought it was very good. However, the last time I ordered the same chicken dish, it was a bit greasy & did not taste the same. I may go there again a 3rd time just to make sure.
Yeah, not so much – I really wanted to love this place. I had been promising myself to try it out for the last two years. Now, I wish that I had not gone. I have been 3 times as I think it is unfair to judge a place on one visit or one dish. The salads are fresh and really good, but the chicken is just plain greasy and there is some sort of 'spice' or 'herb' that leaves an 'off' taste in our mouths. Can't Go Wrong with this place! This place has no pretensions whatsoever. I love everything here especially the salad and the bread pudding. You can't go wrong with Sonoma Chicken Coop.
Poor quality – I agree with the last reviewer. The quality of the food just was not up to par. The portions were large, while the flavor was forgettable. While the place is not expensive, I'd recommend spending your money elsewhere.
