About this business
In 1968, we were just a local BBQ joint in Gainesville, Florida. Today, we're still a local BBQ joint. We just happen to be in a few more locations. But we still do things the same way Floyd "Sonny" Tillman and his wife, Lucille, did back then. We still slow-smoke over oak for up to 12 hours at a time. We still serve generous portions. And we still believe people should be able to go out to eat and feel right at home.

Great Food, Service, n Awesome Salad Bar!!!!
Wonderful family friendly atmosphere!! Yummy food, and phenomenal service and management. Highly recommend this restaurant!
I worked here about 15 years ago and it was good then. It has went through some changes and if defiantly a great place to eat. Every time I get a craving for RIBS this is the first place I think about coming!!!
The best all you can eat ribs. Get place to take the family I can't wait to go back.
Big shout out to Sonny's BBQ for the great meal today. He came in to order flowers, noticed how hard we were working on Mothers Day orders and then returned with lunch. It was delicious. Thanks again .......
