Too many apt community reviews focus on the reviewer's *leasing* experience, which is a minor part of living in an apartment community. This review is not about a leasing experience! I looked at around 20 communities around the DuPont/Logan Circle areas, as well as Capitol Hill, Navy Yard & The Wharf. I am 100% confident that Sonnet was the best option for me - I prioritize walkability of my neighborhood, as well as a nice rooftop lounge. It’s getting worse every year. I’ve lived here since 2021 and I cannot believe how bad this building turned out to be. Food deliveries are stolen at least twice a day. They can’t keep front desk people working for longer than a month, so we are constantly dealing with new employees that admit not being trained and have no clue about the building. The grills upstairs haven’t worked in months. The whole point of this expensive building is using the rooftop during summer but it’s impossible. They got to the point where they don... read more
I had a great experience hosting a party on the rooftop lounge of the Sonnet! The building management was helpful, especially Shawn and Jordan. With its prime location, the Sonnet building has some of the best views of DC.
