Based on prior reviews, I can’t imagine what the rooms must’ve looked like before but I had spectacular stay with a good nights rest and very quick service to my room. It’s complete with a full kitchen and a lovely bed and couch, this is literally home away from home. The desk clerk was nice as well, no breakfast but all the stores are good and close so I don’t mind.

They don't offer king size beds. I was disappointed about that. I did know that at the time of booking, however. The room did not have toiletries. My boyfriend had to go to the front desk for a CUP of shampoo. They didn't have conditioner at all. He also had to go to front desk for a hair dryer. There were dishes in the dishwasher, and used hair clippers in the bathroom. The TV was also in a weird position. It was facing the couch. That place was Absolutely Disgusting. It was Old and Outdated. It Smelled and was Dirty. The Elevator smelled like Urine and Alcohol. I was So Upset because it was my Birthday That I just broke down. As much as they charge I Expected So Much Better. I Canceled right then and there and went somewhere else. They should be Ashamed.

Note: The hotel is underway with renovations but the work doesn't seem to affect the rest of the guests. If you Uber/Lyft or drive yourself, this place is centrally located to many parts of SE Michigan. Walking is totally doable to Walmart, some restaurants, and lots of available delivery options. Maintenance and HK are very nice and helpful. Bare (really bare) minimum food pantry/sundry options on lobby. Good, hot coffee in the AM.
