I've been staying at Sonesta in Morgantown for about 5 mos, for work..All the girls have been great, especially Ashley has always made my stay a good one.. Rooms are clean, I feel safe here being a single woman.. I almost hate to leave when work is done, but will come back here to the Sonesta when im the area...
I have stayed at the Sonesta in Morgantown a few times for work. I have to say if i could give the staff and service a 10 instead of a 5 i would. i deal with Katie in the morings and she is the sweetest thing alwyas so nice. I check in normaly on mondays with Ashlee and i must say their service is spot on. Ashlee always greets you with a smile even when she is so busy. the hotel is not a fancy hotel with all the bells and whistles but it has a nice snack shop and laundry and the main thing is it is CLEAN! Sonesta Essential, I will never stay here ever, I gave the rate for rooms , service, location etc. Which is the location is tight, service was ok from staff, rooms were small. The price for the rooms were brought up really high due to the football game 768.00, and I didnt know that they charge a full deposit of the rooms the same as the price for the room which not knowing It can cause my account to over draft because I didn't account for an additional 768.00 were it would put my money on hold for 2days an any bills paid wou... read more
My husband travels for work and has stayed every week at this hotel for the last 4 months Now they leave a note trying to up charge their room to almost 3x the amount as to what they have been paying for the last 4 months. Not to mention we have had other problems from them pertaining to what they charge. Do not recommend staying here it is highly unfair pricing!! 😡
