I had a very disappointing experience at Sonesta ES Suites Toronto Markham. I was charged a $129 deposit during my stay, and after checking out, I was told it would be released. When I followed up, I was given conflicting information. At one point, staff claimed the charge was for a “pet fee,” even though I did not bring any pets. Later, when contacted through Hotels.com, the hotel stated that the deposit had already been released. Despite this, I have still not received my money back. My partner and I had to book this hotel last minute as we couldn’t travel back to Northern Ontario due to a severe snowstorm. This hotel got us in quickly, the staff is super friendly. The breakfast is good, hotel room was clean and the laundry facility is amazing. Thank you once again
