We recently stayed at the Arya Hotel and Suites Coconut Grove and had a great experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with nice views. The location is excellent, within walking distance to many shops and restaurants, and the property has a relaxed, welcoming feel. The standout was Abner Mendoza, Director of Sales. This hotel is poorly managed. I booked and prepaid a bay view room with a balcony for a special occasion. When we arrived, they told me that I had a city view room and that I had not paid although that I had the confirmation. They gave us a city view with no water view at all. I booked the hotel for the bay view. Although we were there three days, I did not see a manager once. The front desk personnel were incompetent and the issue is still not resolved.
