Found this gem fully furnished studio after weeks of searching for my daughter who had a summer internship in Philly. Safe Old City neighborhood. Short walk to restaurants and historic sites. Clean building and unit. Landlord cares. Glad we found this place. Parking underground and also a garage across street. Close to everything.
We enjoyed our stay at Sonder The Mint. The location was perfect, it was easy to check-in and check-out, and the place was excellent with everything you expect from a hotel but more. The one-bedroom with a fully stocked kitchen provided us with plenty of room and gave us the option to stay in and cook. We really felt like we were locals living in the neighborhood. I highly recommend Sonder!
Clean efficient space for our needs. Only down side was there was no shade for the door leading to the patio so outside lights were shining in all night.
First, make sure you know what you're getting into. I had to book through a booking site that did not offer a good description. So, this is partially my fault. When checking in you are required to send pictures of your driver's license, front and back, and take a 3D scan of your face. The building is not staffed. No front desk, no maintenance, no housekeeping outside of 'Normal Operating Hours', whatever that means. So, while it states they offer hotel amenities, good luck getting them. Great location. A few things…cheap kitchen & bathroom construction-drawer in bathroom fell out and cut my leg. Silverware drawer and garbage drawer not aligned made it difficult to open both.
