It was noisy on Frankford Avenue just below us, but we moved to the back bedroom and it was just fine. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Very good value!
Will stay again however parking sucks - 2-3 hr street parking 😑, lot around the corner is not 24hrs . Best to go to Casino self parking and walk up. Fill out the forms with IDs uploaded timely ,calls for customer service did not work after 11pm. No access to roof top was given even after calling with no response via email or call back. Very nice accommodations and location. Smoke alarm beeped all through the night impacting sleep. No smoke in the apartment. Apparently the battery was dying but to fiddle with it would invoke "tampering" penalty. Also, I paid $50 for a late checkout but they changed the codes on the door at 11am. I was locked out for about 45 min until the maid let me in.
Nothing about this place is terrible, but a bunch of things added up to an unpleasant weekend stay for us. The Bad: The A/C wasn't working in our room and was extremely loud, so we ended up just turning it off entirely each evening so we could sleep. Neither of the bedside lamps worked (the outlets were fine, so it wasn't some confusing light switch issue). I was meant to stay at the frankford but got moved to the Edison (now closed) a few years ago. That was the first issue I had. Following that, the place when we got there was filthy and dusty, the showers didn’t work at all and our friends could not sleep because the futon was entirely bowed in on itself and put together like a nightmare. No one could sleep and we left Philadelphia early because of the miserable experience.
