I have been a patient of Dr. Shah for a few years and I think he is great. I have never had a reason to complain about him at all, my issue is with the staff, the waits are long and the office staff is not attentive. Trying to get staff on the phone for an appointment is impossible. At the moment, I am waiting for an appointment which was supposed to have been scheduled by one of his staff. Gastro Heath is probably not a good place to have medical procedures done because their customer service stinks. As a patient with any facility, I'd like to reach them for any inquiries about myself. I had a procedure on March 23, 2023; Today is 4/11/23, and I still need help to contact someone at Gastro Health, Dr. Somal Shah's office. Unfortunately although he is a great doctor, the lack of follow up and customer service tarnishes everything. I was in the worst pain of my life after surgery and no one bothered checking on me after a dozen calls to his office.
Office is horrible!!! I was unable to get my medication. Keeps telling me to call different numbers and blaming insurance and pharmacy on their negligence. When asked to speak with doctor, he is unavailable and does not call back EVER. Worst experience, stay away from Gastro Health.
He real tell you what is going on and does not sidetrack you Honesty and Professional to the Max !
This physician listened and answered all my questions. I will recommend to family and friends. The staff was amazing and very helpful.
I just came back from a first appointment with Dr. Shah and he was great. He took plenty of time to explain things to me, let me ask a lot of questions, and most importantly, listened carefully while I described my symptoms (which took a while). Would definitely recommend.
this facility is a joke, previous reviews may say this doctor is very knowledgeable etc, but doesn't matter how knowledgeable when the patient skills and customer service sucks. I had to call , and I am not kidding , 7 times and yet I was not able to speak with him in regards to my lab results. I was told I will receive a call back, which i never did, every time I had to call, and be ready to be on the phone each call for long time because they just placed you on hold!.
Amazing doctor. This Dr. is so knowledgeable, He cares very much about my health. Has great bed side manners.
