SLOW and dishonest... REPUTABLE BUSINESS my a** – Took my 2yr old 50" tv in to them last August it is now October 2011. They do not return my calls. When I do call and IF they answer they put me on hold then hang up. So I went to the shop and they tried to give me a different 42" TV saying it was my TV. Now My TV did not shrink an I demanded MY TV. The TV I brought to them. They got real silent and ignored me. I am turning this theft over to my attorney. This place is joke. – I needed a TV fixed fast. So I called this place. They were uncool on the phone, Their was arguing in the background and swearing. Wen the appointment time came, he never showed up.So I called them and got excuses. Then they demanded cash only, if i was to get service. I hung up. I called another TV place Franklin A/V Television Repair & Sales Inc. and got some real service, Franklin treated me well me well. SolidState if they are not out of business within the year, they should be.

VERY BAD SERVICE – Where to start, I know nothing about TV repair. but their lousy customer service and greedy attitude should to been a clue. They had my TV for almost a whole month. Finally I got disgusted and went to pick it up. Their was another gut doing he same thing when I arrived. I reluctantly paid their outrageous fee and got nothing but a headache and excuses for my money. I took the TV over to another dealer and He had it repaired in four days.. EVERYONE you can do better than this place. Shop around.

Great service, Had 2 tv's fixed, ontime – This is the second time I had a tv fixed withing the past year. Both tv's were fixed within a week and were at the estimated cost. One of the tv's they even fixed another minor problem with no additional charge. They seem honest and upfront with the repair estimates and the repair time of one week I thought was fast.

Terrible Customer Service – They had my t.v. for over a month and ended up only temporarily fixing it. The customer service is extremely rude. They cannot fix simple t.v. problems, like an on/off switch, and claim that they've never encountered these problems before. It is hard to believe that in all the years they've been in business, power buttons are not their expertise. They also don't support their warranty policy. The receipt says that they have a 90day warranty. This is not true unless you have them try to fix it agai... read more

Phenominal Customer Service!!! – Extraordinary - Unbelieveable service!!! Not only was my inquiry call returned promptly, the service fee quoted more reasonable than most others, but it was suggested I try something on my own, prior to the service person coming out. I tried the suggestion -- it worked -- and cost me $0. Best TV repair – Thought our 11 yr old projection tv was gone for good. These people could not have been more accommodating, allowing for our special needs and work schedules. The service tech was prompt and knowledgable. He fixed our tv on site and while it was quite a process, we are more than pleased. Price was fair and we are happy that we don't have to replace our equipment.
