Solgen took about 8 months to install our solar panels. It took one day to install the panels and 8 months waiting for inspections and approval by the city of Port Townsend.
Very disappointed with my solar dose not produce what i was told still have a high electric bill plus the payment for pannels i was told that i could get a check for the extra power i produced this is not the case wish i would not have got this system would not recommend to anyone
Biggest scam of a company I have ever seen. First they took 6 months to get installed, second the panels don't produce what was promised. I was told the panels would completely offset my power bill, not remotely close. I was told the "cost" of the installation would be equivalent to my power bill for 3 years and then would be paid off. WOW was that not true, I was traveling when I signed the documents so I didn't read the fine print. It's either a 20 or 25 year loan😡. Very happy with Solgen. Process was simple and communication was very good. Design, structural analysis, permitting and installation went quickly. They even took care of the communication with the HOA. The only reason for a 4 star vs a 5 star was the the delay in the go live date due to a miscommunication between solgen and the power company. Don’t have a battery as they said we would. The solar will not power the house. They never told us we had to turn the panels on so we went months with it off. Then my bill went up 100$ this month. No one answers. No me comes out. If you have an issue they send you an email on how to fix it. And the app is always unavailable.
