I am confused as to why insured patients are being sent home with IV placement, in the most inconvenient spots might I add, to do THEIR OWN INFUSIONS! If this is indeed an “infusion center”, then why exactly are patients not getting their infusions done at the facility? With competent nurses who can look out for signs and symptoms of either a blown IV or infusion reaction?
