Very Traumatic Experience – I bought a package with this company awhile ago, and although they were very expensive, the tanning was always decent even ig the wait and the staff was not. Not too long ago though, I went in to tan and I accidently left my diamond ring and earrings on one of the little tables next to my bed. As soon as I got to the street I realized and turned back. Best Electric Beach in Manhattan – Don't waste your time at other tanning salons (esp. Beach Bum - YUCK). At the UES location, staff are friendly & helpful, there's virtually no wait time & the place is immaculate. Plus: you don't need a degree in figuring out the sophistication of all the various types of tanning beds, because there's only one type, which is the GOOD one! Free Lotion, too!

Same here i love it overthere!!! – Same here I don't know how Dapaul had a bad experience because this place is great, the girls are very nice & friendly and the new manager is the best (Rudy I think). The place is very clean and cozy it is not that big but comfortable enough, if there?s a wait it isn't long. The machines are great you get a tan after your first visit. Dapaul does not know a good salon when he sees it! – dapaul is not a reliable source. He/she obviously has no idea what he is talking about. The salon is extremely reputable, changes bulbs more often than any in the city (use caution!!) and the staff is extremely knowledgeable if you bother to talk to them! I have had nothing but positive experiences there both before and after the move, and the facility is IMPECCABLE!! Please disregard this obviously vindictive review and try the salon for yourself!
NO LONGER WORTH THE TRIP!! – I've been a client @ Solar Salon for a few years now. I must say that their business has drastically changed for the worse over the course of the last year. They are out of the way, not very polite and NOT knowledgeable AT ALL. they haven't changed their lamps in God knows how long .I was seriously burned there twice already. Save Yourself! – Thank God I finished my monthly package and got myself out of there! I have never had such an unpleasant tanning experience in all my years of tanning! It was a nightmare since I stepped foot inside. The sales people were not welcoming at all, they just wanted to get me in and out of there and didn't even explain how anything worked! I felt like a celebrity! – I've been an indoor tanner for years and I have never seen a place like this before. This is the most luxurious tanning salon ever!!! And the most amazing thing is...it's not expensive! The packages are very reasonable and they give you free lotion! I've never had a bad experience here and always come out with beautiful tans. The staff are very knowledgeable and nice. I highly, highly, highly recommend this to anyone considering tanning. It is in a class by itself!!!
