This place needs help – Upon entering Solar Salon it does appear sleek, modern and fairly impressive however once the staff member looks up and decides to acknowledge you, their service goes downhill. The "manager" is rather dry and not very welcoming. The weekend girl has absolutely no personality and neither have customer service skills nor have ever cracked a smile. Long Term Tanner – I have been a part of Solar Salon since it began on Lexington Avenue. I have never burned or had dry skin. You are allowed at most 10 minutes in the beds and that is enough. Sure overeaters gain weight. Over tanners my have a problem on the beach. I have practiced moderation for all the years I have tanned and must say- many envy my natural tan. I tried others before. At Solar Salon I feel like they care about me. I like that.

HORRIBLE Tanning salon – This salon is a good place to stop to use their bathroom but if you're looking for a tan..DO NOT come here. Staff is mostly unhelpful..with the exception of one person...lotion dispensers are broken,..,most machines are only partially working...and on top of it all...they dont change their bulbs so they dont make you tan...SUX.

Excellent, Clean, Knowledgeable i luv it – I am very impressed with this place and have gone for a year now. It's always very clean and sanitized, the place is inviting, the staff is always friendly and extremely knowledgeable on tanning but non-pushy in terms of sales. I would recommend it to anyone. Also, the prices are completely reasonable, and if you can go in the morning hours (when it's least busy anyway), you pay $18 bucks and they always give you a free tanning lotion!!
