Sol Grill is fantastic!! The food and service is next level!!
Today my husband and I went for Happy Hour---first time since Sol Grill moved from the Newport Pier. Fantastic! We enjoyed the sangria (always a favorite), the tiger shrimp (a little spicy and delicious), the meatballs (another favorite), and the focaccia (even better than we remembered). The new place is light and bright, and the front part is wonderful for couples and small groups, while they offer other areas for larger parties. We'll be back!
We had the friendliest server in California - Misty, was especially helpful when we had some difficulties on the security with our bank cards because of travel. It worked out but she was super nice and patient. The food was excellent too. I had the seafood cioppino, and my wife had the lobster ravioli and son had Mediterranean swordfish - portebella mushrooms were a great appetizer. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend, thanks again Misty for making our visit and end of our vacation very enjoyable! 3/27/2019

I would absolutely recommend Sol Grill. The food and service is on point. The meatball appetizer is amazing. I recommend the lobster ravioli....Soooo good.
Great dinner tonight. Amazing service and great hospitality, not to mention the food was so good! Meatballs, shrimp scampi, swordfish and tiramisu. Thanks for a nice, quiet dinner experience. We will be back!
Misty is the best host! Was there for a Christmas party and had the meatloaf (made from filet mignon), fantastic appetizers and the best selection of wines. The upstairs dining/bar area was perfect. Will definitely be back many times. Love the new location.
Wonderful restaurant. I highly recommend it. You won’t be sorry. Great food (Always). You can order anything and it will be absolutely delicious. The atmosphere and decor is stunning and best of all the owner and staff are pleasant and friendly. My experience is always a home run. 10+++++
