this place is a definite GO....Misty is awesome...the food was awesome would go back in a heart beat.....small feel at home place. Not a place to go if you want lots of people and things going on....but great place if you are with friends and want great food and a place to just chat and hang out,

Visited Sol Grill on a Friday evening for casual meal following a conference in the area. Excellent location near Newport Pier; you can literally watch the sun set over the Pacific Ocean as you dine! The food was very fresh (most of the ingredients are locally sourced) and the service was very attentive! The bar has a great assortment of local wines and the interior is very inviting. The place was EMPTY but,.... they said they didn't have seats - sat at the bar .... 30+ minutes later ... the entire place - STILL EMPTY. Horrible - will never go back and do not recommend it to anyone. Never again.
Amazing food and great service with a very cool atmosphere.
It's hard to resist the amazing meatballs as an appetizer! The entire menu is great and some of my favorites are Lobster Ravioli, Seared Tuna Steak, Veggie Soup, Ribs, and Rack of Lamb. Check this place out - you're going to love it!
